As promised we have returned to the Cathedral proper. As you would have noticed, the renovation is far from complete. Works are still being carried out. These are some of the outstanding works yet to be completed.
The cushioning of the pews kneelers.
The completion of the new Adoration Room.
The installation of the new stained glass panels.
The improvement of the bell system.
The repairing of the main signage facing Jalan Keris.
The relocation of the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The partition of the two confessionals
The pavement of interlocking tiles at the guard-house access.
The setting up of the security system.
Further down the line and subject to funds available, we will repair and resurface the car park.
For the moment when the confessionals cannot be used, please approach the wardens to show you the temporary location used for confessions.
However, let us not be distracted with the unfinished work but continue to focus on our final destination and home that St Paul mentions in his 2nd epistle to the people of Corinth:
“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down, we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.” (2 Cor 5:1)

正如计划的，我们已回到主教座堂的圣堂正楼了。然而，你们可能已经注意到，装修工作尚未完成，工程仍在继续进行中。以下是尚未完成的一些工程：
- 安装长凳跪垫的工作。
- 新的朝拜圣体室。
- 新彩绘玻璃的安装。
- 教堂钟楼的改进。
- 面向 Jalan Keris 的标识牌的维修。
- 耶稣圣心像的迁移。
- 两个告解室的隔墙。
- 保安亭通道处的地砖铺设。
- 保安系统的设置。
根据资金情况，我们还计划在未来维修并重新铺设停车场。
目前，由于告解室尚未投入使用，请向礼宾司咨询办和好圣事的临时地点。
然而，我们不要因为尚未完成的工作而分心，而是继续专注于圣保录宗徒在《格林多后书》中提到的我们的最终目的地和永恒的家园：
“因为我们知道：如果我们这地上帐棚式的寓所拆毁了，我们必由天主获得一所房舍，一所非人手所造，而永远在天上的寓所。”（格后5:1）
