This Jubilee Year happens to be the 12th edition of the “24 hours for the Lord”. It is Pope Francis’ initiative of prayer and reconciliation celebrated around the dioceses of the world. It should take place just before the 4th Sunday of Lent. Since the Jubilee of 2025 has been devoted to hope, the motto chosen by the Holy Father is taken from the words of the Psalmist, “You are my hope” (Ps. 71:5).
As it is, Sacred Heart Cathedral already has a tradition of 1st Friday 24-hour Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Hence, we will adapt Pope Francis’ call to prayer and reconciliation on the 3rd and 4th of April.
On 3rd April, we will begin with Mass at 7pm, followed Adoration that will last until the evening of 4th April. As usual, there will be Confession until 9 pm right after the Blessed Sacrament has been put on exposition. On 4th April, Adoration will conclude in the evening with Devotion to the Sacred Heart, followed by Stations of the Cross and Mass. After Mass, the Mandarin Stations of the Cross will take place.

今年的禧年恰好是第12届的“24小时奉献给上主”。这是教宗方济各发起在世界各地教区进行的祈祷与忏悔活动。它将在四旬期第四主日之前进行。2025禧年的主题是“希望”，这是教宗取自圣咏集的格言：“你是我的期望”（咏71:5）。
事实上，圣心主教座堂已经有了在首周五进行24小时明供圣体的惯例。因此，我们将在4月3日和4日响应教宗方济各的呼吁进行祈祷与忏悔。
在4月3日，我们将在晚上7点开始举行弥撒。弥撒后是持续到4月4日傍晚的明供圣体。与往常一样，我们将在明供圣体开始后进行和好圣事直到晚上9点。在4月4日傍晚，明供圣体将以耶稣圣心敬礼作结束。随后是英语的苦路善工和弥撒，弥撒后将进行华语的苦路善工。
